StartSpanish is another educational program that will help you to learn the Spanish language basics. With the help of this application you will be able to learn and practice grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary; and this is not difficult at all due to the interactive exercises StartSpanish offers. The developers say that the application is equivalent to two years of college Spanish.
You will be offered to read some information before you start working with the application, explanations on basic grammar terms, pronunciation, and basic vocabulary. Then you are able to choose any topic among the numerous ones included, from the elementaries (like alphabet, numbers, pronouns, etc.), to more complicated like tenses. Every topic is explained simply and comprehensively, so I don't think you will have any problems with understanding the material. After every topic studied you are offered to do exercises. When doing exercises on grammar, you are allowed to use topic vocabulary. Studying pronunciation is also easy with the program, the voices of the speakers are pleasant and clear, so just listen and repeat. If you want to practice pronunciation just choose a dictation on the themes offered.
Unfortunately, StartSpanish is not free, but you are offered to test its demo version 31 times. Some topics in the demo are grayed out so you won't have the ability to work with them, but you will have the idea of the full content of the program.
